Training, background and philosophy

Pascal is the Director of "The French Touch Physio Ltd".

He is  a consultant chartered physiotherapist.

He studied in the prestigious "Lycée International de Saint-Gemain-En-Laye" in France, for 10 years.

Then he graduated with a degree in Physiotherapy in Paris in 1997 and has more than 25 years of experience in both private practice and hospitals within France and the UK.

He also graduated in Osteopathy in 2006 (this is a French qualification and is not currently recognised in the UK).

He describes himself as a  physiotherapist who enjoys treating all kind of health conditions and patients of all age including babies, children, adults, athletes, senior patients.

Pascal has a keen interest in understanding the human body in all its aspects and has a desire to help people achieve their fitness, performance and health goals.

For him, each patient is a challenge, and even more if the condition is unusual or hasn't been sorted out by other therapists.

He is privileged to take care of babies and children and has a great feeling of responsibility treating them at early stage, by offering their body the best chance to grow up in the more balanced way.

Pascal takes a delicate hands-on approach – he strongly believes that the precision of the hands are the best tools for assessment and treatment and he can lead the session either with a local or holistic point of view, or a mix of both.

Pascal employs many different skills to help people overcome pain and injury, using a wide range of techniques from standard manual therapy mobilisations to soft and delicate tissue releases.

He is a member of a French teaching institute for Healthcare providers (PHYSIOLEARN) as a Posturology and Manual Trigger Point lecturer, and currently he is developing a new palpatory anatomy training program.

Pascal has a keen interest and focus on ergonomics. He believes that advice and prevention around the posture at work or during sport’s activity is essential.

In his spare time, Pascal is a passionate fencer having practised the sport for over 10 years now. He has accompanied young fencers on National competitions, taking care of their physical preparation and injuries.
