 Conventional adult physiotherapy

What is Conventional Adult physiotherapy?

Conventional adult physio recovers all the treatments that are usually offered for adults with a classical physiotherapist point of view.

Usually speaking, physiotherapy focuses on symptoms and local treatment and pays less attention to the Body as a "Whole".

Physiotherapy dedicates to :

  • reduce the symptoms of a condition ( pain, discomfort, swelling...)

  • restore full fonction

  • offer a proper rehabilitation ( after a sprain, a fracture, an injury , a stroke, a lung condition..)

In that kind of treatments, we implement many different therapeutic strategies:

  • massage

  • increase ROM techniques

  • Stretches

  • Strengthening exercises

  • Specific rehabilitation approaches ( Bobath, NDT, Kabat, Chest physio...)

  • Balance, proprioception exercises

  • Taping, strapping
